care advice
Dracaena Massangeana, also known by its Latin name "Dracaena Fragrans," is a hefty, sculptural indoor tree. Its heavy canes anchor some surprisingly delicate, tropical-looking foliage. Bright, indirect light brings out its chartreuse tones, but this low-maintenance tree is happy to grow in a variety of lighting conditions.

Bright indirect to low light

Water when top half of soil is dry

Air Purifying - Absorbs pollutants, filters formaldehyde, benzene and more from the air

Not Pet Friendly - Avoid ingesting

Sits 5.5'-7.5' tall by 2.5-3.5' wide In a 14" grow pot
Pro Tips
Like most "low light friendly" plants, you'll see better growth in bright indirect light than truly low light. While drought tolerant, letting this plat stay too dry for too long can result in crispy edges on the leaves.
Origin
Native to Africa, where it is often grown as a hedge plant! In less tropical areas, Dracaena Wishbone is prized as a houseplant for its low-light tolerance and easy care. In NASA's 1989 Clean Air Study, Dracaenas often scored the best at filtering formaldehyde, benzene, and toluene from the air.
