This majestic houseplant will become a wonderfully regal feature that no one will be able to ignore. Gloriously long and lush green fronds adorn the Majesty Palm. Like most royalty, this plant can be temperamental, but given the right mix of light, humidity and watering, this palm will have a long reign.

Grows best with some direct sun, optimum sunlight of about 6-8 hours

Water well making sure it doesn't dry out but do not let it become waterlogged

Pro Tips
Patience is key with the Majesty Palm, as this plant generally grows about 1 ft a year. Watering is vital, as Majesty Palms do not like to dry out. Keep your Majesty in a very bright spot, as they are happiest with at least 6-8 hours of sunlight a day.
Origin
Native to Madagascar. With less than 1000 left in the wild, you cannot afford to miss out on this regal palm. Part of the Arecaceae family, this tree can reach heady heights of up to 100ft tall in its natural habitat! A tree that grows in warm and humid conditions such as lagoons and river banks, it does not like to dry out but also be careful not to overwater as this can cause root rot.
