Monstera / XL
Get it Planted: Without pot
The most recognizable houseplant, and for good reason, Monstera have unforgettable heart shaped leaves with distinctive splits and holes. Initially the leaves are small and solid, then as the plant matures, the fenestrations will also become larger and more pronounced over time. Monsteras are very easy to care for, as they are happy in a range of light and are fairly drought-tolerant.
Grows best in medium to bright indirect light - Avoid long periods of intense direct sun - Tolerant of lower light levels
Water when the top 1/2 of soil is completely dry - Water before fully drying out

Water thoroughly, then allow time in between to dry almost completely. Don't worry if you miss a watering. Monsteras can tolerate periods of drought and can bounce back. Prune back to keep full and bushy, or stake and train to climb vertically. Cut a stem below an aerial root node to propagate a new plant.
Monstera deliciosa is a species of plant native to tropical forests of southern Mexico, south to Panama.
