The Philo Birkin is a unique houseplant that will get everyone talking- and not just for its luxurious namesake. Bright, indirect light is best but can handle 2 hours direct sun

Allow soil to almost fully dry out in between waterings - Loves humidity

Air Purifying - Absorbs pollutants

Not Pet Friendly - Avoid ingesting

Sit 5-7" tall In a 4" grow pot
Pro Tips
Yellowing, mushy leaves are an indication of overwatering. Leaves will be limp when thirsty and will bounce back up when fully hydrated. Mist leaves daily, and/or keep on a pebble tray of water. Keep away from AC & heat drafts to ensure adequate humidity levels. Wipe down leaves monthly with a neem oil application to prevent pests.
Origin
Tropical Philodendron come from the Araceae family. There are over 500 Philodendron species native to the Brazilian Rainforest however, it is thought the Philodendron 'Birkin' originally started life as a mutation on a Philodendron 'Rojo Congo', which was then separated and cultivated. Another theory suggests it's a hybrid of 'Rojo Congo' and 'Green-Leaf Philodendron', which originated in Thailand.
