Pro Tips
These plants are drought tolerant, as they store water in their stems. Give a thorough watering, drain well, then allow to dry out. Look for wrinkled, squishy, and limp stems as this means it has used up all that stored water and it's ready for a drink! Don't fret if many, or even all, of the distinctive leaves drop in the winter. As log as the stems are healthy, the plant is just dormant, and resting. They should bounce back and grow quickly again when sprintime rolls around.
Origin
Native to tropical Asia, Arabia and much of Africa. Other names for the Veldt Grape are the latin Cissus Quadrangularis, Devil's Backbone, and Asthisamharaka.
